Monday Madness

Thankfully, I have Directv so I was able to watch the regularly programmed Bachelorette last night. Usually I am cursing my source of cable because of a storm, sheeting rain, clouds, or wind because the feed goes out at inevitably the worst time of a show. I cannot explain how much this peeves me when it happens, but this Monday I was grateful for my provider. The highly anticipated "Men Tell All" was on last night and I couldn't wait to hear from some of my favs. Ryan, the over-confident, cocky stud who clearly has some insecurity issues. Doug, who went in for a kiss as he was getting dumped. Kalen, who lovingly referred to Ricky as baggage, and Sean, need I explain why?? For those of you who have no tuned in I will add a pic...

Just in case you wanted an explanation about Sean.

These "Tell All" specials make me laugh. Maybe this is because I fear any type of confrontation; therefore, I would crumble in this type of atmosphere. Or maybe it is because the only purpose is to rehash some drama and make the women swoon over a brokenhearted man. I mean how am I going to really believe Chris when moments before his "heart wrenching" story he was in bed with two different women and claiming he was about to have a third. Doesn't seem like he is too hurt by what happened. I know. I know. This show is fake, or that is what I have been told. However, I am the ideal audience. I truly believe these people develop feelings for each other. They might not last but I still think some do actually fall in love. Perhaps I am too optimistic.

Anyways, I loved that Ryan didn't take himself too seriously and get all offended that the guys were laughing behind his back. What I don't understand is how did they not talk more about how lame the dj was?? I believe he was going by the name of Stevie. A grown man who says he wants to be a dad walks around with a boom box on his shoulder and calls himself Stevie?? I don't get it. I think he got off easy last night. As far as who I think Emily picks....I love Jef. I think he is awesome. He's cute, charming, smart, accomplished, and genuinely seems like a good guy. I get the hibby jebbies (sp?) when it comes to Ari. Something doesn't seem right. I just don't like the guy.

While I was enjoying this teaser before the "most dramatic rose ceremony ever" to be aired on Sunday, I was getting my fill of Hell's Kitchen. How come so many of the chefs on this show serve undercooked or raw food? Isn't that cooking 101? I mean I know when chicken is done and I maybe cook it once a year. Also, if someone could please send a memo to Robin to stop rolling her bottom lip down when she talks that would be amazing. Can't wait to see what happens tonight. It looks like both sides face and epic fail. I will just have to wait and see.

Who is everyone else picking for Emily??? Or does she pick no one? (I don't read spoilers so don't spoil it for me :o)
